Show Stealer II 's coming to town

Found out yesterday on my way home that Im to become a maasi again . It was every ounce of patience in me that stopped me from fallng from the seat.
Yipeeeeee....this is gonna be fun
When Vinayak was born, I was a bespectacled geeky ignorant dolt of a teenager ( as compared to the super smart, elegant and trendy woman that I am now :D) and had not much participation in 'events'. I was also the baby of the family till then, so though it pained to have to lose all the attention n pampering , it also meant I wasnt told much ... except for when it was my turn to change nappies!!

So this time around things should be fun. Considering that Junior II would arrive sometime around my ( hopefully upcoming???) marriage ( whats with Veena's kids n show stealing ???) , my parents do have an enormous lot on their hands now.

As for the names of the kids, the name Vinayak was a derivative of Veena, thought of by the then new father ( what wifey-love, Jijs!!!). Wonder what his creative brain will cough up now??? Vinaina??? Vinay??? Laveena??? or probably the mum-to-be will want a name inspired by daddy??? Hema??? Hemlata??? Hemkunth??? ( giggle giggle!!!)

On a related note, my family seems to have taken a liking for the number 8 ( 1st spirituality, then numerology...are these MY people???)
I was born when Veena was eight.
Vinayak when I was 16.
Now Show Stealer II when Vinayak is 8
Hmm...Should I wait for another 8 years too, just to keep up with family tradition??? *wink wink*

The second time to be grandparents are thrilled. And considering that the news came at a very opportune time, everybody's thanking the stars. Signals to heaven just got busier, I guess :)

And as for me, Im waiting for Show Stealer II to arrive before I dial the 'stars' number ...havta settle two scores now :D
